Weekend Recap: College Hockey

Alright DMV peeps, we’re getting deeper and deeper into the college season here, and there’s a ton of teams in the area. Luckily for you, we’re here to keep track of them all and put everything you need to know in one place so you’re not scrambling the internet and Twitter looking for scores. Since this is the first week of the recaps, power rankings, and all that other jazz were giving you, here’s what the deal is gonna be: I’m not gonna write about teams twice. If your squad, or the squad your looking for made the Top 10 Power Rankings list, head that way to find your recaps and info. Our Weekend recap will include all of the teams that didn’t make that list. So, let’s take a look at what went on around the DMV this fine first weekend of October.

Navy Women are ROLLIN’

Navy’s ACHA D2 women’s hockey team is off to a blazing start. They steam rolled Air Force on Saturday at home by a score of 9-0. They’re 5-0, and have scored…. wait for…. 51 goals… Can someone say point night, every night?

A slide is just that as Georgetown has seen a 2-0 start to the season fall to 2-3 after losing three straight including two this weekend.
