The D1 Flames are staying put at #2 this weekend after a road sweep up at Syracuse. Their D2 counterparts pitched two shutouts, while the D1 squad didn’t necessarily struggle in the two wins, but gave up 8 goals on the weekend, something i’m sure the defensive coaching staff isn’t overly pleased with.

YO Cards, welcome to the top 5… and welcome to your highest ranking of the season, and it’s well deserved. Like we mentioned on the pod, tough to argue a 10-1-0-1 record, especially after a three game weekend that saw them roll their opponents en route to a DVCHC East Coast Showdown championship.

George Washington drops a spot this week but not due to their play, I just had to give hella respect to CUA for the championship weekend. It was a weekend sweep as they would take down rival Georgetown despite getting out shot, then won a close one vs Drexel with a late game winning tuck by Yerkovich, who also was just named ACCHL D2 Player of the Week. Congrats!

Wahoo hockey had one game this weekend according to their schedule vs Richmond, a team they beat handily earlier in the month. BUTTTTT, there’s not score or anything to be found, so it is what it is.

#9 – Christopher Newport (ACHA D3) 13-6-0-0

Previous Rank: 9

Highest Rank: 8

Christopher Newport finished up a weekend in Myrtle Beach with their second sweep in a row taking down Coastal Carolina. I wanna move em up, but there’s just too much good hockey being played in front of them, and I just can’t get past the 6 losses.

Weekend Results: FRI @ Coastal Carolina 8-6 W, SAT @ Coastal Carolina 6-5 W

Navy is steady as she goes in the top 10 as they keep their spot safe with a solo win over the weekend vs West Chester in Annapolis. Navy got point contributions from nine different players but the star of the game, the ANCHOR for this Navy squad, is goalie Charles Doherty, who faced 45 shots and stopping 42 of them.
