DMV college hockey games for the weekend of 1/10-1/12, 2020

Stang Gang x 3

All three Stevenson teams are in action this weekend with four games across the board, but if you wanna the Mustangs in action, the only team at home is the Men’s NCAA D3 squad.

The #5(DMV) #10(USCHO) Men’s NCAA (10-1-0) team is in action this weekend in Reisterstown for a two game homestand as they look to build on their 10-1 record and eight game winning streak. They’ll be taking on the #2 USCHO ranked Geneseo (10-2-1) squad in a top 10 battle tonight, then turn around for an afternoon game vs SUNY Brockport.

The Men’s ACHA D2 (11-10-0) squad is hitting the road for their first game of the new year as they are eastern shore bound to take on the University of Delaware (9-8-0). Back on November 16th, Stevenson would take down Delaware 3-2 in a shootout.

Mustangs Womens NCAA D3 (4-5-2) is also on the road with a one game weekend as they’ll head to take on King’s (PA) for a MAC conference game. The lady stangs are 3-2 in conference play and are looking to end they three game losing streak they went into the holiday break with.

New Turkey Thirds

The #7 Hokies (12-3-2-2) are back in action with two big home games as they look to build on their early season success. They’ll be taking on WVU tonight (my alma matter… and a team with three of my former Ryken guys on it) followed by UNC tomorrow night. Most importantly tho.. SICK NEW SWEATERS for the buys,, black is so clean on hockey jerseys IMO. Check them out below.

Showcase Weekend for the Flames

Two of the Liberty squads are heading to Ohio for the Miami of Ohio Showcase to kick off the new year this weekend. The #1 Men’s D2 (20-2-1-0) team has a three game slate vs Grand Valley State, Davenport, and Lindenwood. The Men’s D3 Flames (7-4-0-1) will take on Robert Morris, Miami of Ohio, and Schoolcraft.
