“I’ll do whatever it takes to win games, whether it’s sitting on a bench waving a towel, handing a cup of water to a teammate, or hitting the game-winning shot.”KOBE

Fitting quote by the legend himself as all four high school leagues are staring down the barrel at league playoffs. Each league has one, maybe two weeks left until it’s one and done SZN, and we crown four now… or defending, champions in the DMV.

CSHL

Forest Park/Hylton (5-2-1) @ WT Woodson (3-4-0)

Mount Vernon, 9:00 PM puck drop

Senior night for this WT Woodson squad who saw their two game winning streak get snapped last week by Colgan. Forest Park on the other hand is coming into this one on a three game heater and looking to keep the steak alive.

West Springfield (6-2-0) @ Colgan (5-3-0)

St James, 8:20 PM puck drop

Big time standings and seedings shift is on the line in this one as Colgan sits two points behind West Springfield in the South. Winner of this takes second place with one game left each in the season.

Robinson (0-6-2) @ Centreville/Fairfax (0-8-0)

Prince William, 9:10 PM puck drop

IDK what you want me to say about this one lol. Congrats to whoever gets their first win.

South County (0-6-1) @ GM/Edison/Hayfield (1-7-0)

St James, 8:40 PM puck drop

Hayfield is hot after winning their first game of the season last week. They look to go for two in a row vs a win-less South County team.

West Potomac (4-3-1) @ Woodbridge (2-4-1)

Prince William, 7:40 PM puck drop

West Potomoac is looking to break away from the middle of the pack in the North as they have no chance of catching 1 and 2, but only sit a point above Ireton in 4th.

MAPHL

St. Albans (2-3-3) @ Landon (4-2-1)

Rockville, 6:00 PM puck drop

It’s senior night for the Bears as they look to get off the skid as they lost to GP last week and then dropped a win in the last 12 seconds vs O’Connell earlier this week to skate to a tie. Albans is looking to solidify their spot in the playoffs with a big two points.

St. Stephens St Agnes (A) @ Georgetown Prep (AA)

Cabin John, 6:30 PM puck drop

Senior night for the Hoyas as they look for a big win in IAC play after skating to tie vs… Bullis?!?! earlier this week

NVSHL

Battlefield (7-1-1) @ Patriot (4-4-0)

Haymarket North, 8:00 PM puck drop

IT’s rivalry night in Prince William as the top two teams in the Patrick division go head to head. Yes, top two teams, but Battlefield has a commanding 7 point lead over Patriot, but don’t expect this game to be a route. Like I said RIVALRY night, let’s get CHIRPIN boys!

Langley (4-3-1) @ Stone Bridge (4-3-1)

Ashburn Ice House, 9:20 PM puck drop

One of these 4-3-1 teams leads their division, the other is fifth in their division. What’s wild, which I assume is the rules, is that you get an auto bid for winning your division? Imagine if Stone Bridge wins the game, finishes with a better record than Langley, but still doesn’t make the playoffs.

MSHL

Huntingtown (8-1-0) @Chesapeake (1-8-0)

Capital Clubhouse, 5:00 PM puck drop

Htown clinched the division.. Chesapeake has one win. I got my alumni by 100.

Fallston (10-1-0) @ Bel Air (1-10-0)

Ice World, 6:20 PM puck drop

Fallston looks to stay hot and in first place in the Eastern conference. Senior night and the last game of the season. Fallston will be juiced for this one so expect a blow out.

16 games in the MSHL and only the above teams use social so !?!??!!
